Dr. Alyssa Nathan joined Biltmore OB-GYN in August 2020. She received her BS in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. While attending school, she was the captain of the Varsity Women’s Soccer team. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed her OB-GYN residency in Asheville at MAHEC.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

She's AWESOME - listens very well and is empathetic. I wish we had drawn blood so that a doctor is tracking my hormone levels on HRT for the 1st time. Especially since we discussed depression, which can be tied to menopause. I'll call the nurse to see if I can drop in for a blood draw this week.

Dr. Nathan is extremely knowledgeable, but also has a lovely, every-person way of describing options/alternatives. She is efficient but thorough, friendly, I can talk about everything with her with zero awkwardness, and she is always prompt with my appointments (even when traffic had me getting there a couple minutes late. I'll be honest, I was pretty bummed when Dr. Chitour retired and I was assigned to a doctor I'd never met. But I'm thoroughly satisfied with both doctor's care. I'm Biltmore OB-GYN for life!
