Dr. Briscoe was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Prior to relocating to the triangle in June of 2013, Dr. Briscoe lived in both Austin and Houston. She attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed her residency at the University of Texas at Houston – Memorial Hermann Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Briscoe is passionate about women’s health education and access to affordable contraception. She is married to Dr. Brian Brimmage and they have a son and daughter. Dr. Briscoe enjoys traveling, cooking and eating, and gardening.

Routine Pregnancy / Prenatal Appointment

I had my first OB appt which was an ultrasound then an appt with a doctor. From my appointment time- until I left, I was at the office for 2 hours. While I understand situations arise in a doctor’s office, I was not seen for 30-40 minutes after my appointment time. The ultrasound tech, nurses and doctor were great.

I arrived a little early for my appointment and was able to be seen right away. Once I was in the exam room there was also minimal to no wait until Dr. Briscoe entered my room. I was very impressed with how efficient the entire office was. But most important, Dr. Briscoe made me feel comfortable and at ease to discuss any issues. I did not feel like she was rushing through my appointment or that any of my concerns were being brushed aside. She was very attentive and clearly cares about her patients.
