She is a Certified Nurse Midwife and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Throughout her childhood she developed a curiosity and interest in the field of Maternity, specifically after the births of her two siblings. She graduated from Essex County College with an Associates Degree in Nursing followed by her Bachelors in Nursing at New Jersey City University. Upon the beginning of her college career she knew that she could make a positive impact in the lives of women and their families, and her passion lead her to choose the path of Midwifery. She graduated from Frontier Nursing University with her Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Midwifery as well a Post Masters in Women’s Health. In 2018, she obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She is also fluent in Spanish.

In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, travel, and exercise.

Office Visit / Follow-up

Everyone was very caring and attentive. They only bumps were logistical (where to go, filling out paperwork and going to the other office to get my ultrasound all were not very clear.) None of those will be issues next time and I am very happy with the practice but those could improve for future first time patients.

Always so happy to see Karen - she has great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. My only complaint this visit was the wait! I waited about an hour and twenty minutes to be seen. I know things happen, though, and didn't mind too much.
