Dr. Kaminski grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate and medical school. She came to North Carolina for her residency in OBGyn at UNC and joined our practice after graduating in 2008. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology.

Her special interests are general gynecology, contraceptive counseling and general health and wellness. She particularly enjoys the continuity of seeing her patients year after year, often taking care of their family members and friends.

Dr. Kaminski lives in Raleigh with her husband, Tom, and their two children Jack and Kate. As a family they love exercising, playing and watching sports, especially college football, basketball and baseball.

Gynecological Problem Visit

Dr. Kaminski was amazing to work with. This was my first time seeing her and everything went well. Her bedside manner is phenomenal! She was warm and welcoming, listened to my concerns, and validated my emotions over my concerns. We came up with a plan of action and she gave me all of the information I needed, as well as answered every question I had. Gynecological Ultrasound / Sonogram

I absolutely love Dr. K she is always so friendly but very serious when it comes to talking about your health questions and concerns, she is very knowledgeable! I also did an ultrasound, didn't catch her name but I would go back to her anytime! She was so patient with me and very nice. Dr. Kaminski is thorough and addresses any concerns I have. She does labwork to check my CA-125 levels as a way of being proactive, which I greatly appreciate. She explains what she will be doing which is reassuring and is sensitive to the discomfort that some exams cause. She also expressed concern that my insurance is no longer accepted at their practice and her office made sure I knew that prior to my appointment.
