The wait time. No one was in line or at the front when I walked in and normally they just go ahead and check me in but I was told to sign in. I am sure the young lady was doing something else on the computer though. I waited at least 15 minutes before I was called back up to be checked in. Once the in-take nurse called me back she said she kept checking to see if I was there and thought I had not shown for my appointment.

Mammogram

The lady who did my mammogram was exceptionally kind and personable. I can't remember her name, but I hope she stays. She was compassionate and took time to talk with me. As did Dr. Dillard_ but she always does. She was very comforting and sat with me as I shared my grief in the loss of my Mom. She was very encouraging and kind.

OB Care

I requested a membrane strip and to have my cervix checked. I wanted for a long time to be seen. When Dr.Dillard came in you can tell that she was extremely busy. It was like she was going through the flow and didn’t see me. When she checked me she told me my cervix was completely closed when I’ve been 2cm and marked at 3cm by the hospital 2 days prior. I have a high cervix that you have to work and check and I am 1000% sure Dr.Dillard didn’t fully check by how short it took her to “measure”. Not to mention she did not strip my membrane as requested. I didn’t bring it back up because she seemed in a rush and I didn’t want her to say anything smart to upset me further. I’ve been seeing Kylie Hands my whole pregnancy and she is wonderful, patient and listens. I’ve heard people talk highly of Dr.Dillard and I must say I am disappointed. I now have concerns about my delivery because if she rushed my appointment will she do the same during my delivery. As a black woman and black OB, I am just overall disappointed.

Gynecological Problem Visit

There has been no follow up from my teleconference regarding my situation. Per my doctor surgery is needed. I have called 3 times for an update where we are with scheduling, no response it will be 4 weeks. Very unprofessional and no courtesy towards me as a patient.
