Dr. Goodrich is a native of Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate education. In 1998, she received her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. She then moved to Winston-Salem where completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Sheets is board certified and her special interests include adolescent and general gynecology, laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Goodrich is married and has two sons and two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys running, travel, and spending time with her family.

I was extremely satisfied with the medical visit. I was not satisfied with the fact that someone called prior to the appointment about my new insurance. She questioned the Id# but never called me back to explain that my insurance would not be accepted. I had to pay out of pocket for my appointment.

Gynecological Problem Visit

Well the girl that did my ultrasound was super nice then when I seen the doctor she seemed to me to not believe I did not feel my iud come out i mean passing blood clots the size of your palm and bloody toilet water it would be easy to miss anyway the doctor told me I would need an x-ray of my abdomen so when I went to checkout I seen Kathy she made my follow up appointment and told me I was done I said the doctor wants me to have an x-ray she says no I and my friend told yes that was what she said kathy says let me check and for us to sit down i watched what she did she clicked on her computer screen a few times flipped my discharge paper over a few times called me back up and said someone would call me from another facility I was like OK but to me when someone says they are going to "check" that means actually leaving your computer and asking someone not just flipping that paper a couple times. So on the way back home about 30 minutes from the office I get a phone call and it's the nurse telling me I need to come back because Kathy was wrong and I need to go across the hall from their office for my x-ray which I definitely did not care for 30 minutes back and gas at 2.99 a gallon all because some didn't want to leave their desk and check i guess she didn't believe me til I walked back in for my paper to go across the hall. So I wasted 1 hour and I don't know how much gas and wear and tear on my car because she didn't do her job correctly in my opinion but the story gets better the doctor said to both me and my friend that she was going to call me in a medicine to start that night and I have it where Walmart text when I have prescriptions ready well I had not head anything from them by 4 that afternoon so I call and they have not even sent it into the pharmacy so I wait and let Kathy check after about 25 minutes I call back and she says the prescription was not called in til 4:11 so for a pill I'm supposed to start that night and an office that closes at 5 seems to be cutting it close. I have had heavy bleeding issues for several months and have had to go more than once to get bags of iron and I needed help so I don't have to get more iron and it just seems to me that someone dropped the ball on this one
