Dr. Goodwin finds humor a great avenue for dialogue. She also has a passion for figuring out disease processes. Dr. Goodwin is married and has two boys. A native North Carolinian, she has lived in Asheville since 2003. She enjoys biking, travel, and building fires in the backyard with her family, and hosting international students.

All of the staff was kind and I was able to get into and out of my appointment quickly. The lab tech drawing blood was quick as well, and did a fantastic job. Usually, I have to be stuck a few times before a vein is found and she did so immediately. Dr. Goodwin was fantastic as always.

Prolia® Injection / Osteopososis Treatment

It was my first time meeting Dr Goodwin, since Dr Hawes retired. She is a whip-smart, compassionate provider. I am over the moon over the good luck of being paired with her. She has already helped me with my HRT, and has given me some good suggestions about finding an endocrinologist out of town, until I'm seen by the local endoc. I have taken her advise and I have an appt in Winston-Salem for 7/2024. It's been 5 weeks since the referral went to the AVL endoc group and they still haven't called me to schedule an appt, which Dr G informed me that it could be a good 6-7 months from the point they call me. So I'm going to get treated sooner thanks for her input. Yup, she's a winner!
