Dr. Desai grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended both undergraduate and medical school at the University of Miami. She completed her residency at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital which is also where she met her husband. They relocated to the area four years ago and have since had two children (both delivered by the Durham Women’s Clinic).

Dr. Desai has a special interest in international health, family planning and adolescent gynecology. She provides care for women in all phases of life from fertility planning to pregnancy and into menopause.

Dr. Desai and her family enjoy getting outside to go hiking. When they’re not exploring the outdoors they are exploring all of the hidden gems the Triangle has to offer. They also love to travel and hope to share their passion of travel with their kids.

Gynecological Problem Visit

I was out of the area when I had a flare up of a problem (autoimmune). He was very concerned that I waited to call until I returned to the area. Dr. Reeves always says if I have a concern he has a concern. In the future I will contact him immediately as he is willing to call medication wherever I am. That sure put me at ease.
