Charleston Ob/Gyn is proud to be providing the women of the Lowcountry with outstanding obstetrical and gynecological care for over 50 years.

The current physicians continue to fulfill the tradition of using the newest technology with compassionate care. Our Board-certified physicians provide care in offices located in West Ashley, James Island, and Mt Pleasant and utilize the Roper St Francis Hospital System. Our practice is devoted solely to the care of women and finding the best solution to your healthcare needs.

Our practice consists of 7 Ob/Gyn physicians. Although this means we have a large office, we strive to provide care in a personal and individualized manner. We are proud to offer minimally invasive surgery procedures. We are an AIUM accredited private ultrasound facility, and offer 3D Ultrasound.     I really love this office and Dr Richardson. This past visit my appointment was 1.5 hours behind. My only suggestion would be to maybe let patients know when they check in that they are running behind so as to manage expectations.

    I was really surprised how kind and quickly I was offered an appointment to come in same day. The person I spoke to was extremely patient and helpful and found an appointment for me. Dr. Sapp wasn’t in that day and I saw Dr. Mitchum. She was wonderful. She immediately diagnosed the issue and explained the cause to me. She really put me to ease over something I was so scared about. Every aspect of the exam, I felt comfortable despite my anxiety and being embarrassed about the problem and my weight, etc. She is a wonderful doctor and person.
