Dr. Alyssa Nathan joined Biltmore OB-GYN in August 2020. She received her BS in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. While attending school, she was the captain of the Varsity Women’s Soccer team. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed her OB-GYN residency in Asheville at MAHEC.

Dr. Nathan was fantastic! While I’ve really enjoyed everyone I’ve interacted with at the clinic, both my Husband and I walked out of our first interaction with Dr. Nathan saying the same thing: “I REALLY like her!’ She was casual while remaining professional and that allowed us to dive into conversations and questions in a way I haven’t with other doctors. And that’s not to say other doctors at the clinic don’t do that or create that environment, Dr. Nathan just seems to have a personality that can more easily pull that comfort out of people. We had fun laughing about certain things, got a great lesson on genetics and what to expect at my next appointment in detail, and she gave great reco’s. Even my Husband liked that he felt more ‘involved’ in the conversation than he’s been previously (Dr. Nathan joked that my Husband and her Husband seem to have similar brains in wanting to understand all the details). It was a great appointment and I’m looking forward to seeing her again!
