Dr. Anita Hudson-Fraley, a graduate of Goldsboro High School, returns to our community with over twenty years of practice experience. After graduating from the ECU Brody School of Medicine with her medical degree, she completed her OB/GYN training in York, PA. Subsequent to private practice in Greensboro and Raleigh she most recently served as part of the teaching faculty at Duke University and as OB/GYN residency coordinator at Duke Regional Hospital.
Dr. Hudson-Fraley most appreciates building long term relationships with her patients and their families. She has professional interests in Women’s Sexual Health, including sexual dysfunction and its impact on the intimate relationship. In addition, she has a focus on self-esteem and proper body imagery in pre-adolescent and adolescent girls.

As the mother of a daughter and son, she enjoys traveling for their sporting events and loves to sing karaoke and salsa dance. She is excited to be practicing back home here in Goldsboro. We welcome her home and are privileged to have her join us.

Office Visit / Follow-up

I was highly satisfied with my recent follow-up visit with Dr. Hudson-Fraley because she took the time to genuinely listen to my partner (male) and my concern about a birth control that would prevent pregnancy and lessen the severity of the trauma of my monthly cycle. Dr. Hudson-Fraley was honest, forthright, warm, and kind. She is a provider I would recommend women--especially those with disabilities (I have autism and severe mental illness)--begin to build a trusting relationship with for OBGYN care.

Abdominal Pain

I found out later that what I was feeling had nothing to do with my fibroids, so far. I was also informed that I had bacteria in my urine abd I found out later at the emergency room at the hospital that it wasn't true.

I felt like she was rushed. I had asked for a procedure to be done- one that had already been done. I wanted to be checked to see if I was dialated any. And other providers had talked about doing another procedure to help with me starting to go into labor and she absolutely refused. She only talked about my weight gain and how that could affect my delivery since my baby was estimated to be bigger

Prescription sent to wrong pharmacy. I wanted to pick up from local pharmacy not have mail delivery. Staff confirmed I could pick up meds. Not so, it was sent to mail delivery pharmacy. Furthermore, I called mail order pharmacy and learned that my insurance does not covered the prescribed drugs.

There was a mishap with not having the proper equipment in the room during the procedure so after having everything done, having to sit and wait for the proper equipment to get there was not comfortable
