A native of northeast North Carolina, Dr. Bonpain attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. She completed her medical residency in 2005 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Since 2005, Dr. Bonpain has continued to advance her knowledge by joining several medical societies, including the American Medical Association, North Carolina Medical Society, and the Southeastern Obstetrical & Gynecological Society.

She’s also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and in the past, she served on the Wake Medical Utilization Review Committee at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Dr. Bonpain lives in Cary with her husband Eric, who is from France, and their son and daughter.

Annual Well Woman Exam

Dr Bonpain is the nicest and most caring doctor I have ever met. She is a knowledgeable and experienced professional who really cares about making you a "well woman". This visit, I got there a couple hours earlier because of car/ride issues, and I was willing to wait hours for my turn. However, the Bonpain (and the office staff) did not want me to wait for hours and took me as soon as they could which was very soon since it was early morning. I am very grateful. Best doctor and office ever!

Dr BonPain was amazing as always which is the only reason I continue to come as the wait is always excessive. Additionally the middle aged blonde receptionist scolding the person who I can only assume was a newer higher while she was checking me in was uncalled for and left me feeling terrible for the woman trying to check me in. If I had not been so shocked at what I witnessed I would have said something at the moment but this will have to suffice. As a client service member in the medical field I was appalled at how that interaction occurred.

Office Visit / Follow-up

I truly do like the provider I see, however without fail, every single time I’m at this office for an appointment, regardless of which provider I see, my wait time is insanely long. This time it was over an hour past my appointment time when I was finally seen. I understand things run behind, but with no updates about what’s happening it’s tedious and become such an issue for me, I’m considering a new practice.
