Brittany Harris

Brittany was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She attended NC State University (go Wolfpack!) for undergrad and earned a dual degree in biology and secondary education. She went on to earn a BSN in Nursing at Queens University and then moved to Asheville to work at Mission Hospital in the medical-surgical float pool. While working as an RN she earned her Master’s in Nursing with a focus of Family Nurse Practitioner from ETSU.

Upon becoming a FNP, she spent 3.5 years at the Health Department in Sylva. While there she served a more rural and underprivileged population and became a passionate advocate for women’s and maternal healthcare.

When not working, Brittany enjoys traveling, running (she just completed her first half marathon last year!) and spending time with her husband and toddler.
