Dr. Casey Cooper is the newest physician to join Triangle Physicians for Women. Dr. Cooper grew up in southwestern Virginia, attended medical school at The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (Virginia Campus), and completed her OB-GYN residency training at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Chattanooga. She enjoys the variety that working as an OB-GYN provides, including seeing a wide age range of patients, performing surgery, and being a part of deliveries. Outside of taking care of her patients, Dr. Cooper loves trying new restaurants, exploring the outdoors, and cooking. She is excited to settle into the Cary community with her husband (a Raleigh native & NC State graduate), daughter, and two golden retrievers!

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Cooper as my physician. She is very kind and professional. She did not rush through my appointment and most importantly, I felt heard. She is the first physician in my entire life who did not push contraceptives when I told her that my husband and I use natural family planning and fertility awareness method as our "birth control." Thank you for this!! One of the reasons I usually dislike going for my annual well woman exam is that I always have to argue with the provider about NOT wanting a hormonal birth control. I did not have to do that with Dr. Cooper and I'm so grateful!
