A Louisiana native, he graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1991. He joined Catawba Women’s Center in 1995, upon completion of his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). His wife, daughter, and son fill his time away from the office and keep him running.

Dr. Dufour is wonderful. He is professional, listens to my concerns, and closely monitors my health. He has been my dr for 26 years and I am thankful to have him. I have no complaints about my experience with Dr. Dufour. I would have given 5 stars but I felt like I had to wait a long time throughout the appointment. My appointment was at 11:15. My mammogram was scheduled for 11:50 and I didn't start the mammogram until 12:30. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and professional.
