Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Heather Flowers has served as the Coordinator and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner of Cary Ob/Gyn since 2017. Heather is an Honor’s Graduate and earned the degree of Master’s in Nursing from Duke University in 2017. She also earned her Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 2017.

While new to Cary Ob/Gyn, Heather is by no means new to the specialty of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Prior to working for Cary Ob/Gyn, she served as a Clinical Nurse on Labor & Delivery at WakeMed Cary Hospital for 15 years. During her last 5 years in that role, she served as a Preceptor for new nurses coming into the unit. Heather has a total of 20 years experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Women’s Health.

Heather resides in Coats, NC with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with family. Her extensive knowledge of Obstetrics & Gynecology, as well as her competence, affability, and empathizing manner has made her the perfect individual to help pregnant women get the best possible start on their childbearing journey.
