Dr. Heinemann is a Board Certified fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Having been born and raised in Georgetown, SC, she attended the University of SC and received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon completing her residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, she joined Lowcountry Women’s Specialists in 2008, and became a partner in 2009. Dr. Heinemann specializes in both gynecologic and obstetric care, including endometriosis, infertility, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. She is proficient in robotic surgery as well as both medical and surgical treatments for urinary incontinence. Dr Heinemann lives in Mt Pleasant and enjoys reading, boating swimming, traveling and, most of all, spending time with her husband John and their children.

Routine Pregnancy / Prenatal Appointment

I was extremely satisfied with the rad tech - she was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. The only reason I did not give my visit a 5 star review is due to being rushed through the actual time with the doctor. I did not get to ask all of my questions I came prepared with in my notes. I felt belittled and disregarded. I left extremely disappointed and unsupported. This was completely different than my usual experiences with Dr. Givens. He treats his patients with care and patience. I felt as if I was inconveniencing the doctor at this location and I will not be returning nor referring anyone to this doctor. I was referred to by many coworkers to the Springview location, including some of their own family members and I simply could not believe the difference in experiences. Again, the rad tech was phenomenal and I wish she was located at Springview. Kudos to her for being a top notch tech and human being.
