Karen Guida, MD, FACOG, is a Board Certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving the residents of many North Carolina communities, including Davidson, Huntersville, Lake Norman and Mooresville at Lakeshore Women’s Specialists, PC.

Dr. Guida attended Indiana University School of Medicine, graduating in 2011. Her residency was at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Specializing in minimally invasive robotic surgery, Dr. Guida is an expert robotic-trained surgeon regularly performing hysterectomy procedures, minimally invasive removal of fibroids, treatment of endometriosis, and more. She served on the Quality Assurance Committee for Harvard Vanguard in Boston for five years before she recently relocated to Mooresville.

She is married with 2 young daughters who keep her busy along with two dogs and two cats. Passionate about staying active and outdoors, she loves gardening, running, hiking, water sports, and snowboarding! Dr. Guida answered my questions and alleviated my concerns. She always addresses anything she sees that should be mentioned and or questioned. I really appreciate this quality. I follow up on suggestions for outside assistance. She is kind and engaged with her patients. She is present. Dr. Guida seems to care about helping women. I assume I am the oldest patient she sees as many are in the childbearing years. I like her for all of these reasons.
