Kathryn Wood Calvillo

Katie Wood Calvillo, CNM, WHNP grew up in Raleigh, NC. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Mathematical Science at UNC-Chapel Hill, Katie worked in actuarial consulting before returning to school to pursue a career in women’s healthcare. Katie attended Columbia University as a National Health Service Corp Scholar and earned a BS in Nursing and a dual masters in Midwifery and Women’s Health in 2006.

Katie began her career at Baystate Hospital in Springfield, Mass before moving back home to Raleigh in 2010, where she has worked in private practice. Outside of the office Katie works with a non-profit in Durham that supports and empowers pregnant and parenting teens.
