Kim joined our team in early 2016 but has worked as a nurse practitioner for the past 16 years.

She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Lenoir-Rhyne College and her Master of Science in Nursing and her Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee. Kim loves women’s health care, especially young women and caring for families.

She is married to her sweetheart for 30 years and they have one adult son together. She also loves to spoil her Doberman, Lucy and when not working enjoys doing mission work, traveling, reading and attempting to knit.

Kim Rector always goes above and beyond to make my yearly physical visit stress free and comfortable. She takes the time to review with me my current meds and is truly invested in my health. I was her patient when your practice saw patients as primary care and was very saddened to have to find another doctor to see.
