Dr. Hill joined A Woman’s View in 2019 and is thrilled to be a part of the AWV team.

She graduated with distinction from The University of Virginia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and then she traveled west to complete medical school at West Virginia University where she graduated in 2014. Dr. Hill is joining us after completing her residency at Mountain Area Health and Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville.

Dr. Hill has special interests in family planning, vaginal surgery and high-risk obstetrics. She views herself as a resource and counselor to patients, and wants to help each patient understand how to optimize their health based on their individual and unique needs. When she’s not working, she enjoys audiobooks, painting, hiking, meditation and music. She and her husband Wes, a lawyer for the UNC system working to improve the response to campus sexual assault, have a vibrant young toddler named Julia who is constantly bringing fun into their life.

I was satisfied with my care from Dr. Hill she got to me after 5. She could have rushed the appointment and gotten me out fast but she actually took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. We made a plan for an HSG appointment and for future appointments to follow. She gave me hope that I could still possibly get pregnant even though I am in my 30’s now. I felt hopeful. The lab was closed at 5 for blood work so I had to come the next morning. The tech was very nice however when she stuck me the first time I told her something was wrong and to take the needle out she didn’t until I said that really hurts can you try the other arm. She did once she realized there was no blood coming out. She was able to get my other arm with much better results. She apologized.

It's hard to say why I like woman's View so much. I just do . Maybe it's because, Dr. Hill is an excellent doctor and is always willing to listen. The waiting room is bright and cherry and the staff are very friendly.

Treatment / Procedure

Firstly, her personality is lovely and bubbly and she listens to everything you have to say and she never makes you feel like your feelings or opinions don't matter. She is the reason I finally figured out where my pain was coming from. I was gaslit by so many doctors and nurses and it's because of Dr. Hill that I'm no longer in as much pain as I once was. I was treated horribly by other doctors so much so I started think I was crazy, I started thinking in was all In my head because that's what the other doctors basically told me but she did my laparoscopic procedure and found the source of my pain which was adhesions from endometriosis. Because of her I can live a some what normal life. Which is amazing because I was suffering for 10+ years. I'm so thankful and grateful for her. God definitely sent me her to be my doctor. I would recommend her 100%
