After growing up in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Dr. Watty attained her medical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During medical school she earned her Masters in Public Health degree at Temple University. After serving as chief resident, she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Inspira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey. With her move to North Carolina, she is prepared to practice the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology, including minimally invasive surgery. She enjoys spending time with her husband Derek, their son Lucas, and dog Dixon.

Annual Well Woman Exam

I came in for my annual exam and mentioned my previous/current abdominal problems. I had mentioned previously having an ultrasound with no findings, but asked if there could still be something not right in that area. Without any further elaboration or request to be seen Dr. Watty said yes let me set you up with my coworker to do an exam and most likely a laparoscopy. I am used to having to heavily advocate for myself and beg doctors to listen and understand my concerns. Dr. Watts was a breath of fresh air in validating there could still be something wrong and then proactively setting up an appointment to look further into it. I felt heard and that is rare in my experience.
