Pap Smear

Efficiency and good service

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

Dr Grana offered an early (6w) u/s due to my history of recurrent pregnancy loss. I didn’t even ask. I felt seen and holistically cared for, in a very human way, by her and the team. RPL is a vulnerable and unique space, and most doctors I’ve encountered don’t have good training or sensitivity on how to deal with a patient’s grief and anxiety. Dr Grana, in contrast, was exceptionally kind and reassuring and took time to answer all my questions and suggest best new relevant research. Compassionate and competent care.

Annual Well Woman Exam

I had an 11:15 appointment and there was an emergency that morning that caused all of her appointments to run behind. This is understandable but no one informed me of this and I was left in the waiting room for over 30 minutes. I too have to work and I’m coordinating my schedule around my appointment which shouldn’t take more than an hour. My last years visit was similar, in that I waited to be called but waited even longer in the room before the Dr. came in. If we’re expected to respect the doctors time and the practice by showing up early and filling out the paperwork ahead of time, then TP4W needs to show the same respect for their patients time. If there’s a delay, say so and give us the option to reschedule

Mammogram

Dr Grana is always so kind and detailed and listens to all my concerns and offers a great plan to follow

Annual Well Woman Exam

It was about 20-25 past my appointment time when I was called back and a full 55 minutes after my appointment time before I was seen. I received an apology for the delay due another patient having questions prior to a surgery. I can appreciate that - I would have questions too. But I had left work early during a busy season for me and I felt there was no respect for the value of my time. If I had been warned of the delay I could have brought in some work to do while I waited. Of course sitting in a gown in the exam room, otherwise naked, is not conducive to working. Again, no respect for the value of my time.
