I am a certified women’s health nurse practitioner. I have undergraduate degrees from Auburn University and Belmont University, and completed my graduate nursing coursework at Vanderbilt University in 2008. I joined Capital Area OB/GYN in January 2013 and I provide in-office obstetrical care and gynecology services.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, I moved to Raleigh in 2009. My husband, Michael, and I have three daughters. I enjoy being a mom and traveling.

Gynecological Problem Visit

Everytime I go here in treated so well, everyone genuinely cares and no one ever seems annoyed or like they don't want to be there. The overall energy is incredibly positive and welcoming, and everyone is more than happy to answer any questions you have and give you as much information as they can. I have never felt this great at any OBGYN office until I came here. I have been seen by a few different doctors here and they have all been great, and they are able to get you an appointment within the week as well. I have referred multiple friends here and they also all tell me how great it is and how grateful they are to find a place where they're truly heard, respected, and treated.

Gynecological Problem Visit

I have been dealing with doctors other than N.P. Maggie Darst ! I have Sjögren’s an autoimmune disease that affects my body in many ways. I have been to Drs who don’t take into consideration my Sjögren’s condition. The minute I got back to Maggie everything was going to be better!! She cares and listens to the issues!!!!!!
