Mel (she/her) is a trained Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with over ten years working with high-risk pregnancies. She has worked closely with families affected by chronic diseases such as diabetes, substance use disorders, and other long term health conditions.

As a certified addiction advanced practice provider, Melinda is passionate about eliminating the stigma associated with substance use disorders and ensuring every woman has access to quality care.

Melinda earned her Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and her Master of Science from Western Carolina University. She is also a certified diabetes educator. She has two teenage children and enjoys spending her free time with her family and her dogs.

Due to my history of health issues, thinking about and trying to conceive has been a very scary process but she’s made my husband and I feel like we’re in the best hands we could possibly be in.
