I needed to talk with my Dr about the medication I was taking because it wasn’t fully effective; therefore, it wasn’t an emergency but still fairly urgent, and the only available options were an in person appointment or a virtual appointment 2 months later. At the time of appointment the Dr was 15 minutes late and the call dropped about 5 minutes into the appointment. The Dr did called back 5-10 minutes later.

Routine Pregnancy / Prenatal Appointment

The appointment took forever. I have never been to see Dr. Dillard without waiting 1.5+ hrs. Dr. Dillard is very dismissive. She spent less than 3 mins in the room with me. At 39 weeks pregnant, all she did was measure me, she took no heartbeat, didn’t check head position for baby, didn’t bring up induction, there was absolutely no additional care on her end.

Follow-up

I didn't have to wait extremely long period before seeing Dr. Dillard for my follow up appointment to make sure my stitiches had dissolved and everything healed good. She even asked if I needed grief counseling as I spoke to her about my mother passing on the 17th of February. I like that she takes the time to listen and meet her patients needs.
