An Ohio native, Dr. Toy graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Biology in 1986 and from Wright State University School of Medicine in 1991. She completed her internship and residency in OB/GYN at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and began private practice in Asheboro, NC. She joined Catawba Women’s Center in 1998. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Dr. Toy stays busy with her husband and three children when she is not in the office, pool or singing.

Dr Nancy Toy is so pleasant, very personal and cares about her patients. She is also very professional and a wonderful Doctor. She was the first one to find a small lump on my left breast during an examination and suggested that I see another doctor and I had a needle biospy. Fortunately It was negative but her concern will always be remembered.

I didn’t receive a thorough exam in my option. Dr was not open to learn to my concerns or questions. The main fucus was on what health care questions was not going to be discussed or answered and what test was not going to be done. Highly disappointed and have lost faith in this practice after being a patient for many decades.

My doctor has excellent bedside manners, and I have no reason to distrust her. She sets high standards for her staff, which I appreciate. The breast technician was also amazing. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that the entire practice operates as one cohesive unit, always working for the well-being of their patients.
