Dr. Nellena Adekoya grew up in the Atlanta area. After high school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She then earned her Doctorate degree in Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She completed residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Her interests include preventive care and pelvic floor disorders. Her hobbies are practicing American Sign Language and Spanish, visiting friends and family, and singing karaoke.

OB Care

Nellena Adekoya did a great job monitoring our baby on the way. I am thankful for her care for our family and baby she has done such a nice job. The Ultrasound Tech did a lovely job as well. I love coming to Wayne Women's Clinic. We have such a good feeling when we step through the doors. Wayne Women's Clinic delivers excellent care for their customers. I don't know what their future holds, but I know that Wayne Women's clinic will always be held as a special place in my heart. God has definitely blessed the clinic and I love when I am able to come their and see Brandi at the front desk. She delivers such caring service and cares about the patients. I also love when I run into Lori Spisak. She is a role model to me. I have wanted to do Nursing one day and I know she is a Dr. Watching Lori work has shown me that I can also try to he a Nurse or Dr one day. I hope to he as good and kind as she is if I am in the medical profession one day.

Dr. Adekoya is amazing. She listens and tries to help and it’s really nice having this since I feel like most doctor visits don’t go great. The wait at this location is always very long I feel like they have a high volume of people in this area but every time I’ve been here I’ve been in the waiting room for at least an hour. Maybe schedule less patients per day so each patient can get the care they need.
