Dr. Nellena Adekoya grew up in the Atlanta area. After high school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She then earned her Doctorate degree in Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She completed residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Her interests include preventive care and pelvic floor disorders. Her hobbies are practicing American Sign Language and Spanish, visiting friends and family, and singing karaoke.

Gynecological Problem Visit

The doctor was super friendly, optimistic, and encouraging even with unfortunate news. She ensured we felt heard and answered any question we had and did not make it seem like a bother or feel like any question was dumb. My rating is solely based on my experience with the doctor! The beginning part felt a little more less friendly or focused on, but as time went on it got better.

Front of office reception brandy always makes me feel like I’m not being judged and welcomed. First time visiting with Dr.Adekoya and she welcomed me with excitement and treated me as if I was human and not a problem. Dr. Adekoya is the best. She’s always welcoming, attentive, and caring especially throughout my pregnancy. Every appointment with her has been an amazing experience. One thing I’ve had problems with before is not having a doctor where I feel comfortable or clinic pushing other doctors on you that you are not comfortable with but with Dr. Adekoya I’m always satisfied with my visit.
