Dr. Schoenbachler joined Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates in August of 2019 following completion of residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He grew up in Mississippi where he graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University. He then attended the University of Mississippi for medical school.

His clinical interests include obstetrics, minimally invasive and pelvic surgery, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor disorders, and general gynecology.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Morgan and their two children, Dawson and Hart. He is a member of Twin City Bible Church. An avid outdoorsman, he can frequently be found hiking, fishing, and camping in the mountains of North Carolina.

I received the same excellent care and compassion I always receive from Dr. S and all of the Lyndhurst staff. Even when I’m nervous about a procedure their kindness and patience with me always puts me at ease. The procedure was a breeze, I had very little discomfort afterward and I felt very comfortable that he did a good job correctly placing my IUD.

Incredibly personable, polite, and understanding of my goals. He could refer to therapy and do additional lab work without scheduling a separate appointment. When I displayed some sad emotions he was quick to grab tissues and allow me the time to formulate thoughts and a game plan. I never felt like a number or metric to hit.

Check in was prompt and efficient and I did not wait a long time to be seen by the doctor. There were new staff who did not introduce themselves so that was a little unsettling and not as welcoming as my past experiences with this office. Dr. Schoenbachler was personable, caring and welcoming. He seems to be a very compassionate physician. I was quite comfortable conversing with him as he listens attentively.
