Rachel Thomasson grew up in Fayetteville, NC but now lives in Carthage, NC with her husband and young daughter. Rachel enjoys spending weekends at the lake, quality time with her family, camping, baking, and exploring new adventures with her daughter. She has a strong passion for women’s health, with the hope to help women embrace their uniqueness by gaining a better understanding of our bodies.

Rachel has been working in women’s health for 7 years as a Registered Nurse and most recently graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Office Visit / Follow-up

My mother is almost 95 and has worn a pessory for 10 plus years. With her increasing age, the process of removal, cleaning and reinsertion was becoming more and more uncomfortable. Nurse Thomasson explored the possibility during our last visit (fall of 2024) of leaving the pessory out for a time to assess whether or not is was still necessary. My mother has had no difficulty following the removal of the pessory, and has found it easier to pass her bowel and just generally be more comfortable. Nurse Thomasson is personable and respectful toward my mother, addresses her directly and communicates clearly.
