Rachel Thomasson grew up in Fayetteville, NC but now lives in Carthage, NC with her husband and young daughter. Rachel enjoys spending weekends at the lake, quality time with her family, camping, baking, and exploring new adventures with her daughter. She has a strong passion for women’s health, with the hope to help women embrace their uniqueness by gaining a better understanding of our bodies.

Rachel has been working in women’s health for 7 years as a Registered Nurse and most recently graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Rachel was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and easy to talk to. Rachel explained why she would like to try a different hormone treatment option, explaining the details in easy to understand words. She also called the same day with the results of my mammography. Although a second mammography is required, she clearly & concisely walked me through why without raising any alarm. She also put in the request for the second one as soon as she was off the phone.

Breast Exam

Office personal was friendly and courteous. I was called back in a timely manner. The nurse (?) was polite. Rachel came into the exam room quickly. She explained what she was doing as she proceeded with the exam. She took time to answer my questions. She is always so pleasant. Her personality makes a dreaded exam not so terrible. One of my dear friends recommended her to me. I generally don't see a PA, but because she was so highly recommended, I decided to give her a try. I am so glad I did!

I have never in my met someone as personable as Rachel. She made me feel as if I had known her for years! Based on my history with cancer and some abnormal paps, I have a bit of high anxiety whenever I have to get my annuals. I was completely at ease with her and will request her from now on.
