Dr. Goodrich is a native of Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate education. In 1998, she received her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. She then moved to Winston-Salem where completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Sheets is board certified and her special interests include adolescent and general gynecology, laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Goodrich is married and has two sons and two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys running, travel, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Goodrich is so great and so is her nurse! I asked to transfer my care to Dr. Goodrich after having met her in the hospital following the birth of my twins. She was so down to earth and really took the time to talk to me and see me as a person and not just another patient number. She and her nurse made me feel at ease during the whole appointment and talked me through everything.

I spoke with the nurse before my exam as usual and requested a pap. She told me that I could have one but that research shows it's not necessary to have every year. I don't totally trust that and haven't been offered any research. I know if I want a pap done. I also wanted to discuss so perimenopausal symptoms but, I suspect she wrote a one word note, "menopause". This is evidenced by Kelly uploading my hormone test results with the note, " [my name] You're not menopausal". I hadn't asked if I was menopausal.
