Dr. Subhratha Maredia takes great pride in caring for women, especially during those most vulnerable stages in their lives. Dr. Maredia received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, majoring in Brain Behavior & Cognitive Sciences. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at TriHealth in Cincinnati, where she was awarded “Best Overall Resident.”

Trained and experienced in medical and surgical approaches to treatment with a focus on robotic and minimally invasive surgeries, infertility diagnosis and management, contraceptive care, and menopause therapies, Dr. Maredia always listens carefully to her patients and creates a safe environment for discussing the best, individualized treatment for each one. She is particularly focused on caring for her patients who are experiencing polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility, and abnormal uterine bleeding.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Maredia enjoys cooking, biking, running, playing pickleball, and, most importantly, spending time with her daughter and dog.

Menopause Management / Education

I love Dr Maredia! She is so dedicated to the health of women at all phases of life, including menopause. I’ve been to practices in the past that have felt really geared toward the younger patient (this is totally understandable) but I feel that the care I’ve received as a menopausal woman has been exceptional. She told me right away about a new, well-studied medication that could help my symptoms and it has completely improved my quality of life. I cannot thank her enough!

Annual Well Woman Exam

Everyone I encountered was very nice. I really liked the doctor. She was pleasant and attentive to my questions and concerns.

STI Testing / Treatment

Dr Maredia was on time, very kind and explained things well. She has a calm demeanor about her that makes these uncomfortable exams much better.

Annual Well Woman Exam

I have been a patient of Triangle Physicians for Women for a long time. I am middle age and I felt my visit was not through enough. No talk about my Osteoporosis at all. I am taking Boniva and no questions about my well being. A very basic in and out and not personal visit is what I got. I could have answered my questions or concerns on my own. What's the point of going to a Doctor???? Not happy!!!!!!!!!!

Gynecological Problem Visit

Dr Meredia laid out all my options, including one she does not personally offer. She patiently let me ask followup questions as it was all new to me. After the visit I reached out to say I chose a different route and asked for a referral, she was quick to send the referral. Overall great experience and I'll return for other appts.

Hysteroscopy

Dr. Maredia is a skilled, compassionate surgeon. She truly listened to my concerns and I am thankful for her excellent care .

IUD Insertion / Removal

The wait time seems forever outside and inside, especially inside when you are sitting naked from the bottom. And didn't feel that warmth or connection as I do with the midwives.

Gynecological Ultrasound / Sonogram

In my experience when a patient comes in with low pelvic pain and when ultrasound shows inconclusive the physician usually attempts to at least put hands on patient to ensure nothing more serious going on. Was not even palpated and I had to remind them to test my urine. Was bizarre visit. Ultrasound inconclusive does not mean you stop being a doctor.

Gynecological Problem Visit

Dr. Maredia is a very thorough and thoughtful Dr. I felt totally confident about the treatment plan. I would recommend her to family and friends.

Breast Exam

Dr. Maredia is so vey pleasant . She explained everything during the examination and answered my questions.

Pelvic Pain

I went in for severe pelvic pain, unable to walk/stand up straight, vomiting, dizziness, heavy and painful menstrual cycles. After my ultrasound, the doctor I spoke with was insistent on taking out my non hormonal IUD and putting me on hormones, despite the numerous times I said I do not want that option. I told the doctor I truly believe it is endometriosis, to which she told me the only way to find out is through surgery that may or may not give me answers. So my options were hormones or surgery, and she continually pushed for me to take my IUD out that I have had in for years with zero issues. After sending the ultrasound to get a second opinion, I was informed that the doctor did a poor job with the ultrasound and that I can be clinically diagnosed with endo with a better ultrasound. The doctor did not seem to care at all about what I was telling her and seemed more focused typing something on the computer. I had high hopes for this establishment, but after this visit, I will be finding a doctor that cares that I am in unbearable pain and actually does a proper ultrasound to clinically diagnose me before undergoing a surgery that may not do anything for me.

Annual Well Woman Exam

Dr. Maredia was very kind. She introduced herself, spoke to me about any concerns I had. She listened and provided good feedback. Dr Maredia also told me everything she was doing as she was doing it which put me at ease.

Routine Pregnancy / Prenatal Appointment

The doctor was nice and polite. She was a bit nonchalant with answering my questions which made me feel as though they weren’t important to discuss. She didn’t offer any advice and I just felt like another routine appointment for her. Which is fine, other doctors I’ve interacted with have just been more personable. She suggested I take an iron supplement for anemia, though did not say how much or call to discuss.

Office Visit / Follow-up

Dr Maredia is always very personable and has great bedside manner. She’s also good at explaining things.

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

My appointment was at 2:00 and it took quite a bit of time to actually be seen. Normally I don't mind waiting extra but having gone through miscarriage and being very emotional and uncomfortable at my reason being in the office, a faster in and out would have been preferred. Otherwise staff were professional. Maredia was very gentle and kind when she came to talk to me after my ultrasound which was appreciated.

Routine Pregnancy / Prenatal Appointment

Although my appointment was scheduled for 9:45, I wasn’t seen till 10:15. The same happened with my last visit with Dr. Roger’s. The appointments went fairly fast and I did most of the talking with curt responses. I understand that at some point these prenatal appointments are routine but I would have expected some response to me starting insulin and any proactive comments around the implications of that (I had to ask about induction etc). My initial midwife visits were remarkably more punctual and they seemed genuinely vested in my questions and interaction.

Fibroid Detection

Unfortunately, I observed a change in the doctor's demeanor compared to our initial meeting. She seemed less friendly and understanding, especially when discussing my condition and treatment options. One concern is the absence of a written summary or detailed information about the proposed procedures. This would have been helpful for me to review and make informed decisions. Moreover, I felt that my questions about potential risks and side effects were somewhat dismissed, and the doctor's response appeared dismissive, even including smirk. This left me feeling unheard and uneasy about the recommended procedures.
