Dr. Tristan Sanz joined Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates in August of 2016 after completing his residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born and raised in Florida where he graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology then attended the University of Florida College of Medicine where he received his M.D.

His interests include high risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery and vaginal surgery.

In his free time, Dr. Sanz enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, daughter Emilia, son Harrison and two bonus children, Drum and Charlotte. Their family loves spending time outdoors, traveling, boating, and playing with their dog, Bruce.

Everyone was so kind, professional, and welcoming. I misunderstood my surgical time as my arrival time and no one made me feel bad, everyone was understanding. I had a problem. An appointment was made very quickly. The staff was very kind and helpful. The Dr.Sanz not only did a detailed exam, but also ordered lab work and an ultrasound was done on the premises.

Dr. Sanz is such a good doctor...explains everything he is doing or going to do and noticed that my heart murmur was different than the last time and needed attention. He referred me and they have already called and set up an appointment to have my heart checked.

Gynecological Exams

Dr. Sanz is the first Dr in years to actually listen to me and get to the root of my problems. Who I was seeing in the past never truly listened and would cut me off with what they would think would fix my issues. Dr. Sanz hears me out and realizes that I know my own body. Also, he doesn’t act superior to me. It makes me feel more comfortable talking to him. The nurse was also very sweet this time. She was a joy to talk with while getting things ready.

Dr. Sanz took his time, was very thorough, and answered all of my questions during my annual exam. I had a difficult postpartum time this past year and have seen multiple doctors at Lyndhurst but Dr Sanz is my favorite. He is very kind and efficient. Last year he helped identify a problem I was having and performed the medical procedure. At my last visit, you could tell that he had taken time to look at my chart and gave me recommendations.

Dr. Sans has an awesome bedside manner . He is very informative without judging . The office runs like a well oiled machine. My appointment was at 8:30am, and I was walking out of the office 9am. My visit was thorough and I never felt rushed. The layout of the exam room makes the experience comfortable, especially each exam room having its own bathroom.
