Born in Dallas and raised in Houston, Dr. Brimmage left the state of Texas to attend undergrad at Harvard University. After graduation, he worked as a chemist, in business management, and as a high school teacher, before finally finding his calling in medicine. Dr. Brimmage attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Brimmage is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible through the Fellow American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Brimmage is passionate about improving the quality and safety of healthcare for women, and loves minimally invasive / robotic gynecologic surgery. He is married to Dr. Jenifer Briscoe and they have two children, a son and a daughter. Dr. Brimmage’s hobbies include cooking, travel, and photography.

Dr. Brimmage is knowledgeable, friendly, and empathetic. He is a great listener and works to find solutions to any issues you are facing in a way that will work with and support your lifestyle. At the last appointment, I arrive about 30 minutes early, and was seen almost immediately. Throughout the visit - from check in to sign out, I felt like I mattered as a human and not only as a means to a payment for services rendered.
