Chelsie has a passion for empowering women to become proactive in their healthcare and achieve a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition. Chelsie became a nurse in 2014 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2016. Upon graduation, Chelsie worked at Carteret Health Care as a Labor & Delivery nurse caring for mothers and babies. She continued to work in Labor & Delivery while achieving her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Duke University. She graduated in 2020 as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She and her husband enjoy spending time boating and soaking up the sun on the coast!

I was extremely satisfied with the tech that did my mammogram- she was wonderful! I wish I could take separate surveys because I would give her a 5. I am not nearly as satisfied with the provider- Chelsea Mattox. She does not seem to take an interest and I believe that she does not know the first thing about what is means to be a perimenopausal woman. She is a nice person- she breezes in and makes conversation- but as far as being empathetic and supportive to the needs to middle-aged women, I feel that she just can't relate.
