Chelsie has a passion for empowering women to become proactive in their healthcare and achieve a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition. Chelsie became a nurse in 2014 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2016. Upon graduation, Chelsie worked at Carteret Health Care as a Labor & Delivery nurse caring for mothers and babies. She continued to work in Labor & Delivery while achieving her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Duke University. She graduated in 2020 as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She and her husband enjoy spending time boating and soaking up the sun on the coast!

First of all, I LOVE the interior design of the place. It's all 90s/early 2000 coastal minimalist vibes, and it makes for a calm clean, well lit atmosphere. Which is ideal for patients. Secondly, Chelsea is amazing. Professional, wicked smart, genuinely engaging and curious, easy going, and trustworthy. Especially important as a GYN and during intimate conversations pertaining to reproductive and mental health. Third, having the tele health option was key to my survival while traveling this past year dealing with severe anxiety. She made me feel like a in office patient thousands of miles away. Give her a raise!!!

Gynecological Exams

Mammogram was as painless as possible. Tech was knowledgeable and very personable. Mary Helen was very nice and responsive. Dr Mattox was so pleasant. She answered questions and solved problems. The exam was thorough and comfortable. I really this office and their staff. No one ever seems to have a bad day.
