ABOUT DR. GARRETT-ALBAUGH
“I have always had an interest in women’s health and becoming an obstetrician and gynecologist has allowed me the opportunity to make an impact in women’s lives. Whether it is the joy of bringing a child into the world or helping you with different health concerns in the realm of gynecology, I will work hard to make each experience what you expect and deserve.

“I am dedicated to providing the best medical care to my patients. Each interaction with my patient teaches me something new. I will provide each of you the most up to date care. I believe in teamwork am I am truly honored to be joining such a wonderful group of physicians.”

In her free time, Dr. Garrett-Albaugh, enjoys spending time with her husband and sons. She loves to travel and spend time outdoors. She is a cheerleading enthusiast, being involved at the state level in WV as a safety and cheer judge prior to her move to NC.

Courteous and pleasant atmosphere by all staff. Personal interview instead of completing many questions on paper. However- I see some old and inaccurate info on the portal Health/Care Summary where questions were not asked to update- I’ll note these on a printed copy and take to the office. Exam was gentle as possible- still being thorough. They gladly printed previous BMD report for me. I have appt for BMD at Morehead City location and referral for Mammo at my preferred location in New Bern. It’s all good. Thank You!

I enjoy the staff , nurses and Dr. Garrett they are always kind. Dr. Garrett is so sweet and caring she makes you feel like you are her only patient. Dr. Garrett always asks if you are experiencing any problems and answers any questions you might have. She takes her time and never rushes and listens to all concerns whatever they may be. Endometrial Biopsy

I was seen on time. Good communication from all staff, who were friendly. The ultrasound was quick and efficient. Dr. Garrett explained the reason for needing the biopsy due to the ultrasound results. She was reassuring and showed concern for my discomfort during the procedure. She answered my questions.

The amount of time for the visit was very good. My doctor takes her time when we talk so I don't feel rushed. The front desk check in was good, however checking out I picked a window that had two ladies in it. Come to find out the older lady was training and sadly was not very nice or at all helpful to me. I can only hope that she is not that way with all the patients .
